Seneschal of Meereen's royal court under Daenerys Targaryen and, more recently, under King Hizdahr, with his true loyalties a matter of some dispute among those who serve alongside him.

Meereen's conquest gave Daenerys a city to govern and precious few Meereenese willing to help her do it, and Reznak mo Reznak was among the freedmen who stepped into that gap, rising to seneschal of her court on a wave of perfume and flattery the queen finds nearly as tiresome as it is, apparently, useful. He denies, consistently and at length, that any of Meereen's noble pyramids have ties to the Sons of the Harpy's shadow war — a position that puts him at odds with Skahaz mo Kandaq's much harsher suspicions, and that Daenerys herself has never been able to fully credit or fully dismiss.

Quaithe's cryptic warning to beware 'the perfumed seneschal,' delivered to Daenerys before ever she reaches Meereen, hangs over Reznak's every appearance without the text ever confirming it points at him specifically. He survives Hizdahr's brief reign as one of the few councilors the new king keeps on, and when Skahaz mo Kandaq and Barristan Selmy move to secure Meereen after Daenerys's disappearance, they take Reznak into custody rather than risk his loyalties — an act of caution, not accusation, though the published books leave the difference between the two carefully unresolved.

Where the books leave Reznak mo Reznak: Reznak mo Reznak's oiled, obsequious service to Daenerys has never once earned her full trust, and a warning from the shadowbinder Quaithe to 'beware the perfumed seneschal' has left his loyalty, and possibly his very identity as an honest man, an open question the text has never closed.
